CUMBRIA'S branch of the Confederation of British Industry has welcomed the Government's project gigabit plans.
Cumbria will be among the first locations in the UK to receive 'the fastest broadband in the world."
Alistair Westwood, CBI Cumbria Director, said: “Business looks forward to a rapid and successful rollout of Project Gigabit and welcomes the transformational impact it can have on communities in the region. Upgrades to the speeof digital connectivity have long been viewed as priorities."
