SUPERMARKET giant Tesco has reported a dip in operating profit which it puts down to Covid.
In its 52 week preliminary results, published last week, operating profits stood at £1,815m, down from £2,525 the year before.
It's put this down to £892m in "Covid costs" and forgoing £535m in Government Covid Relief.
However it also reported sales growth of 7.7 per cent.
