Since launching its Wild Swimming package earlier this year, Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa, located in the North Lakes, has reported it has become the most popular leisure activity programme on offer since reopening in May.
As the public continue navigate through Covid-19, many are looking for new ways to realign their physical and mental health as life return to a sense of normality.
Boasting fantastic health benefits, wild swimming has attracted a lot of popularity over the last year.
Armathwaite Hall invites guests to try an unforgettable and exhilarating outdoor experience and reap the benefits on offer.
Guests are left not only with a sense of accomplishment but improved mental and physical wellbeing, says Armathwaite Hall.
Situated just a short stroll from the hotel, wild swimmers are met at the foot of Bassenthwaite Lake by local instructor, Ali Phillips, for a half-day session in the wild and open waters.
The sessions start with the basics of open water swimming before being guided into the water to enjoy the incredible and breathtaking views.
Included in the half day session, swimmers can explore Bassenthwaite Lake, and explore locations including the ‘Gin Pool'; a natural infinity pool with incredible views; and a string of spectacular waterfalls in Buttermere and beyond, 'The Wild Swimming & Waterfalls' experience starts from £90 per person for a minimum of two people, for further information visit www.armathwaite-hall.com.
