A landscape charity has been overwhelmed by the amount of images submitted for its photography competition.
Friends of the Lakes ran a competition for stunning images of the Lake District to be featured in its Christmas card and calender collection.
Vanessa Rhoden Fundraising and Marketing Manager at the charity said: “Picking the winners is always a difficult task, but this year was particularly hard.
“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everybody who took part.”
This years competition featured a ‘Dark skies’ category celebrating the beauty of the night sky with the winner being a man named Richard Jakobson.
There was also a ‘Reflections’ category featuring images of reflections in lakes and other blue spaces with the winner being Andrew Locking.
All money raised supports the Lake District area.
