Cumbria police are investigation after a man launched a roof tile from the top of a building.
Officers are looking into the criminal damage of a vehicle on Murray Road in Workington on Thursday between 7.10pm and 7.20pm.
A spokesman for the police said: "A roof tile was thrown by an unknown male from the roof of the Ryman Stationary store on to a car which resulted in damage to the windscreen and bonnet."
