Workington MP Mark Jenkinson showed some festive cheer this week as he helped deliver a Christmas hamper to the town's fire station.
Away from parliamentary business, Mr Jenkinson shared through his social media channels a picture outside Workington Fire Station, just before he hand-delivered the hamper to staff.
On his Facebook page, Mr Jenkinson wrote: "I had one gentleman ask if I’d take his veterans hamper to our emergency services for him as he was going away for Christmas and a couple not in later today - so I dropped off at Workington Fire Station and a couple of our fantastic vaccination sites.
"I’d have loved to have got round hundreds more - I’ve had a fantastic few days."
