A HEARTBROKEN mother has thanked searchers that have gone out and looked for her beloved son who went missing more than three months ago.

Glenn Jackson, 45 was last seen in the area of High Street in Maryport on Saturday, May 21.

His mother, Jackie Ostle (pictured) has thanked those who have helped in the search for Glen and detailed what the past three months have been like for her and her family.

"I can't believe the amount of help from Glens friends the people who are out searching, particularly Lauren Orme and Kim Hodgson who have really kept things going, making flyer and posters.

"I just want to thank everyone, thank everybody for what they have done and these girls are just amazing."

A team have been out searching from Friday and throughout the weekend, after the police have dropped the case.

Times and Star:

Jackie said: "You have to give them credit for what they did do, they did put in effort searching for him and brought other agencies in to help."

"No clues at all, it was obviously unexpected for him because everything was at home he had left his phone, his wallet, his jacket everything was there as if he had just stepped out.

When asked what she would say to Glenn if he is still out there, Jackie said: "Just come home and if he doesn't want t come home then just let anyone know he is safe, but he can't be, he would have got in touch he wuldn't have let us go through this.

"I just hope that he knew how much he was loved, just standing there at the lighthouse with all the people who were searching for him and everyone had got a story of why they were doing it for Glenn."

For Jackie and her family, the past three months have been like 'a nightmare'.

She said: "It's every mothers worst nightmare, it's the kind of thing that kind of thing that flashes past us in our worst 'what if?' , there is just  nothing left without him, he was just the light he was so funny.

"It's just so strange, somebody went on to facebook or youtube to find video's he had done for me and he was just so full of life, so full of humour and now just nothing."
