Cumbrian paratroppers will pay their own respects to the fallen and raise money for those who survived warzones.
Joe Collier and Tommy Scott have organised an event that will start and end at the Maryport Top Tap in High street.
Members of the Cumbrian Parachute Regiment will march from Fleming Square to the Memorial Gardens to place a wreath, starting at 11am.
They will then return to the pub where, at 2pm, a raffle with over 50 prizes is at stake.
These include a large turkey, worth about £90. and a book signed by the Britain's Bake Off stars-Matt Lucas, Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood and Pru Leith.
There is also £50 donated by an anonymous young man who overheard a converstion about the event while Mr Collier was talking to a local barber.
