A MAN has been fined for damaging the wall, floor and door in a police cell.
Shaun Edgar, 36, of Ruby Road, Salterbeck, Workington, committed the offence in Workington on December 24.
The value of the damage has not yet been determined.
Edgar pleaded guilty to criminal damage under £5,000, when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
Edgar was fined £40 and must pay £120 in compensation. He was ordered to pay £85 costs.
