A GP practice has closed temporarily 'until further notice' - with all services for the practice being moved elsewhere.
Workington GP Group Practice have announced that the Beechwood site, in Workington from tomorrow Thursday, January 26 'due to unforeseen circumstances'.
The practice based on John Street in the town will now be closed 'until further notice'.
In a statement on social media, Workington GP Group practice said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to temporarily close our Beechwood site from Thursday 26th January 2023 until further notice.
"All clinical services will be moved to our James Street and Orchard House sites.
"We will be contacting any patients with appointments booked at Beechwood to let them know which alternative site to attend.
"We appreciate your understanding and continued support and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
