A businessman wants to bring friends and family together to raise funds for a special cause close to his heart.

Ian Tyson, the owner of Triple T T T Cumbria, a multi-service company, wants to keep his family member's memory alive by raising money for Hospice at Home West Cumbria and helping look after them.

The event is on February 18 from 7 pm until 12 pm at the Flimby Sports and Social Club.

"We have run charity events for the hospice over the past few years," Ian said.

"The place means a lot to me as they looked after a family member when they were ill before passing away.

"I would like to do something and give back to them to thank them for their help.

"It will be a great night, and we have great entertainment from Ann-marie and Just Jock.

"We also have some great raffle prizes to be won, including an afternoon tea, a 2-hour tattoo session and more.

"The tickets are £5 and are available from TTT school drive and Flimby social club, and it is £7 at the door.

"Help us raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity."
