Cockermouth residents are invited to the annual parish meeting next week.
Electors will hear reports from county and borough councillors and a report on the work of the town council.
They can also ask questions.
The meeting will be chaired by town mayor Andrew Semple, who sill be stepping down as a town councillor at the end of his term. He will be playing a part in the new Cumberland Council, representing Cockermouth South.
It will take place in town hall at 7pm on Wednesday, March 22.
