After more than a decade of encouraging people to eat seasonal, local, organic (SLO) food through her SLO Food Suppers business, it's owner Sharon Watson has brought the service to a close.
Sharon, of Cockermouth, said: "It's been a great pleasure to meet and feed so many lovely people over these years and I've very much appreciated the positive feedback I've had from my customers.
"However, I now feel it's the right time for me to look at new ways of promoting SLO eating and supporting our outstanding local food producers."
Sharon reckons the average family wastes £800 per year of food. Last spring, she ran some free sessions from her home designed to help people reduce the amount of food they are wasting and eat more sustainably at home.
"They went very well and I'm hoping to offer more of them in the future, perhaps via a community organisation or independently," said Sharon.
