West Cumbria Rivers Trust, in association with Sustainable Keswick, is hosting a screening of ‘Save Our Wild Isles Business Films’ as part of the Great Big Green Week.
Inspired by These Wild Isles - the iconic BBC nature documentary series, WWF, the RSPB, the National Trust and Silverback Films came together to produce four films for businesses.
They combine stunning wildlife footage with the voices of influential business leaders and experts including Deborah Meaden (business leader and investor), Ken Murphy (group chief executive, Tesco), Paul Polman (business Leader, former CEO Unilever) and Tony Juniper CBE (chair, Natural England).
The films explore how much nature has been lost in the UK, the actions employees and businesses can take to reduce their impact and the need to put nature at the heart of decision-making to become part of the solution to the crisis.
They will be shown on June 15 at Keswick’s Alhambra cinema, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
