Blast from the past travel memorabilia is set to go under the hammer at Mitchells Maritime & Transport Sale this month.
The exclusive, online-only auction will run from November 10 to November 20, offering a variety of vintage items ranging from bikes and car number plates to aeroplane seats and maritime art.
One item on offer to bidders is a rare World War II BSA British Paratrooper folding bike, often called a 'Parabike', dating from 1942-1945, listed as Lot 65, with an expected price of £150-£250.
Lot 31 features the portrait of a Victorian man and a Penny Farthing bike, with a guide price set between £80 and £120.
Train enthusiasts may be interested in the Lot 11 R.E Thompson & Co railway block bell signalling instrument, or the LMS triple aspect railway-hand lantern at Lot 9, capable of illuminating the festive season with an affordable price tag between £40 to £60.
Sea lovers should lookout for Lot 2, a charming Art Deco Bakelite clock by Vitascope Industries Ltd, featuring an illuminated automaton sailing ship against an ocean backdrop for an estimated £300-£500.
A wide array of maritime images and prints are also up for grabs at prices ranging from £20 to £200.
Not leaving air travel followers behind, a striking row of Boeing 737 aeroplane seats could add a quirky touch to your home for an estimated £100 to £200.
To join this trip down memory lane, prospective bidders can view the complete catalogue online at www.the-saleroom.com/Mitchells, and in person at Mitchells Lorton Street Saleroom on November 8 between 10am to 7pm.
