POLICE in the Allerdale area arrested a man for drug offenses.
This week a drugs warrant was carried out on a property in Workington resulting in an arrest.
A spokesperson said: "On Friday 1st December 2023, Officer's conducted a drugs warrant in Northside, Workington.
"As a result of this, a male was arrested for drug offences and released under investigation.
"Targeting drug offences is a priority for us. Tell us about suspicious activity on your street, suspicious people or vehicles on your street, drug supply in your community, any concerns about crime in your neighbourhood.
"Anyone with information can report online alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11."
