A TOWN rotary club will be holding a cinema afternoon in Workington with the aim of raising funds for a much loved charity.
Workington Derwent Rotary Club will be holding a fund raising film event which is being held in the Ritz Cinema on the March, 12 with doors opening at 1pm to raise funds for Prostate UK.
A spokesman for the Workington Derwent Rotary Club said: "All the proceeds are going to Prostate UK which carries out research into preventing this awful disease.
"Everyone seems to know someone who has some sort of Prostate problem so it’s a good opportunity to support the Charity and enjoy an excellent film."
The film being show will be The Great Escaper which stars Michael Caine as an ex serviceman who escapes from his care home and sets off on a mission.
