BEE Unique in partnership with Morrisons in Workington organised two free unique shopping experiences for SEN families in west Cumbria.
On Tuesday April 2, the autism support charity brought SEN families to the store where they were able to get involved in all things retail.
Families were able to learn about foods at the supermarket and even got a taste of some cheese. Bee Unique said: "We were delighted to meet Morrisons Community Champion Lesley. So friendly and understanding - thank you so much"
Participants also took part in scanning own shopping at the children's till. Bee Unique said: "[It was] lovely to see participants serving other BEE UNIQUE families."
A small goody bag was given to families at the end of the experience and those who attended are encouraged to draw a picture of their experience which will be displayed on the noticeboard in Morrisons.
