CUMBRIA Police have been offering advice to elderly residents in Workington.
Officers visited an Age UK centre where they provided advice and support to older people in a safe setting.
Those who attended the event were able to talk with the police officers and voice any concerns that they had.
A spokesperson said: "Allerdale NPT officers spent the morning with locals at Workington Age UK.
"Reassurance and advice was offered. Just a reminder it is a safe warm space to grab a cuppa and a chat."
