A group of young mountain bikers resorted to YouTube searching for advice on how to fix a dislocated knee after one of their friends crashed on Barrow Fell on May 1.
Fortunately, the group was assisted by the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
A spokesperson from the Keswick MRT said: "Fortunately the team was soon on scene and after some strong analgesia a team medic attempted an unusually difficult patella relocation.
"The casualty was subsequently stretchered down the hill to an awaiting ambulance for further treatment at hospital."
