Morgan Sindall Construction and Bellcare Domiciliary Care Services have announced their support for the Pride of Cumbria Awards 2024, which take place at the Greenhill Hotel in Wigton this Thursday, June 13.

The Pride of Cumbria Awards are Cumbria’s biggest event celebrating heroes from all walks of life, held in partnership with joint headline sponsors GSK and NRL.

They celebrate all those who have gone above and beyond to help people in this amazing county.

Morgan Sindall Construction is sponsoring the Sports Person/Team of the Year category, which recognises an individual or team in a sporting discipline, individual sport or sporting event that has achieved the most notable performance in recent months and shown examples of outstanding commitment, dedication and enthusiasm in their chosen sport.

Bellcare Domiciliary Care Services is sponsoring the Caring for the Community award which recognises the carers at home and in the community who have gone the extra mile. They will have shown true compassion towards those they care for and demonstrated outstanding acts of kindness.

The two new sponsors join a whole host of local businesses and organisations who have supported the awards this year, these include: NRL, GSK, Sellafield Ltd. , Westinghouse,  Cumbria Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, University of Cumbria and Cumberland council.
