There were trophies galore handed out in the Workington and District Sunday League last week.

First Northside retained their premier division title last week, finishing with a flourish.

They defeated Pack Horse on Thursday night, winning 3-1 to lay their hands back on the trophy.

After a long season, skipper Scott Musgrave lifted the trophy aloft after the game.

Northside's goals came courtesy of Liam McCullough with a brace and one for Kyle Galea. Pack Horse replied through Calvin Feeney.

On Sunday, Deer Orchard lifted aloft the Sunday League Cup, after a 2-0 victory over Red House.

An Andrew Ireland penalty and one from Lewis Horsley was enough to hand them the crown.

In the league, Northside continued to rack up the wins, when they got the better of Waverley by the odd goal in seven.

Anthony Zajac was unlucky to be on the losing side when he racked up a hat-trick for Waverley.

Kyle Galea picked up a brace for Northside, with one apiece for Robbie Watson and Michael Kilgour.

Blue Bell claimed a 2-0 win over Pack Horse courtesy of strikes from Daniel Park and Ian Studholme.

On Tuesday night, in division one, Highfield got the points in a close encounter with Red House, winning 4-3.

Tom Stephenson, Brett McMillan, Mark Marrs and Matthew Thompson all bagged goals for Highfield.

In reply, Red House found the back of the net through Gary O'Driscoll, Nick Wood and Anthony Holland.

The second game was more clear cut with Seaton Royal Oak travelling to Maryport Labour Club and coming away with a 6-1 win.

Ben Powell bagged four goals for Royal Oak, with Tom Powell and Cameron Caine also scoring.

Anthony Harris replied with the lone goal for Labour Club.
