Smurfit Kappa Premier League newcomers Cockermouth battled their way to a shock 2-2 draw at the home of champions Netherhall.
The home side dominated the first period and after missing numerous chances, took a 1-0 half-time lead through Gary Pearson.
The visitors drew level with a 30-yard screamer from Reagan Tinnion.
However, Netherhall seized control of the game again and retook the lead through Paul Vickers.
The home side thought they had done enough to take all three points but Cockermouth's Jack Clark slotted in the equaliser to snatch a good away point.
Elsewhere, Wigton swept aside Whitehaven Miners with a 5-0 victory, while Windscale and Carlisle City Reserves played out a 1-1 draw.
In Division One, Whitestar entertained Borough and went down 2-1. Aaron Rossi scored Whitestar’s goal, with Daniel McAdam and Ryan Benson scoring for the visitors.
Whitehaven Miners Reserves had a baptism of fire when travelled to the seaside and were hammered 9-1 by Silloth.
Reece Blake (4) Michael Hill (2), Kris Nichol (2) and David Bragg were on target for the home side.
Elsewhere, St Bees and Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves drew 2-2 and the match between Hearts of Liddesdale and Bransty was postponed.
