Mally Graham kickstarted the Workington Sunday Football League programme with a seven goal tally to his name.

Graham was on top form for Sun Inn as they defeated Pack Horse 13-2 in the opening premier league game. Andrew Trestianu was also on the scoresheet with a hat-trick, with Dan Pearson bagging a brace with one more from Liam Parker.

Pack Horse did find the back of the net twice, with Gareth Brunton and Shaun Carter on target.

It was tighter between Deer Orchard and Blue Bell, with the two sides deadlocked at 1-1 at the final whistle. Luke Ivison was the scorer for Deer Orchard with Tom Powell replying for Blue Bell.

The clash between Northside and Salterbeck was postponed.

In division one there was another high scoring game as Maryport Labour Club struck 16 without reply against The Junction.

Leading the scoring was Josh Patterson who picked up his own seven goal tally to set the term off in style but he was pushed close by team-mate Ethan Weir who put six away. Aston Reynolds added two to the cause while Macauley Sharp also bagged one.

The remaining games were closer with Glasson Gardeners and Sun Inn Athletic having to settle for a 2-2 draw. Ciaran Booty scored both Glasson goals with Athletic replies coming from Mark Campbell and Tom Beaty.

Steven Stoddart was on target with a brace for Dearham as they drew 3-3 with Highfield, the remaining Dearham goal coming from Callum Casson.

For Highfield, Keith Skillen, Paul Brown and Connor Cooke all found the back of the net.

In the final game Flimby Social won 3-2 at JJs with a hat-trick from Max Litt. JJs goals came from Ryan Smith and Alan Sim.
