Karl Fillingham scored four for Glasson Gardeners as they ran out 4-3 winners at Sun Inn Athletic in Workington and District Sunday League's Division One.

The display of lethal finishing cancelled out a brace from Mark Campbell and another goal from Stephen Wilson to take all three points for the Maryport side.

It is tight at the top of the division with Maryport Labour Club on 18 points after nine games, Dearham a point behind having played a game less, and Glasson on 15 points with games in hand on the two sides above them and both teams still to play.

All three teams won on the road at the weekend in narrow contests, with Labour Club 3-2 winners at Highfield thanks to two goals from Cameron Harker and one from David Miller. Paul Brown and Keith Skillen scored for the hosts.

Dearham went to Flimby Social and came away with a 4-2 victory with Jack Dunstan, Craig Rule and Jason Ackerley on the scoresheet, while Max Litt replied for the home side with a brace.

Only one game was played in the Premier League as Deer Orchard were fired to a 3-0 win at Grapes by Mike Graham, Luke Graham and Louis Pickering.

In cup action, Pack Horse and Northside booked their places in the President's Cup final, seeing off Blue Bell and Salterbeck.

The former were 3-1 winners as Kyle Graham scored a brace and Matthew Perry added another goal, while Cody Benson pulled one back.

Northside were rampant against Salterbeck, winning 6-0 as Tommy Whitehead's brace was added to by Tony Berwick, Jamie Bramley, Jamie Glover and Josh Chariton.

The two sides will contest the final on May 27 at Borough Park (6.30pm kick-off).
