A DATE has been announced for the rescheduled Ike Southward Memorial Trophy Game.
The match is held annually between Whitehaven RL and Workington Town and is one of the most prominent pre-season fixtures of the year.
The local derby game was postponed due to weather conditions in January 2024 with the game now set to be held in March.
A spokesperson said: "The Ike Southward Memorial Trophy has been re-arranged for Sunday, March 3, to be played at Workington Town Rugby League Football Club’s Fibrus Community Stadium following the postponement of the traditional pre-season clash due to Storm Isha."
